Connected Care Program Manager
Adam Bluth is currently the Connected Care Manager for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), “VA Healthcare - VISN 4” network which includes 9 medical centers and 45 clinics that serve Veterans in Pennsylvania and Delaware and parts of Ohio, West Virginia, New York and New Jersey. Adam oversees telemedicine, mobile applications and VA’s patient health portal, “My HealtheVet.” He has largely focused on increasing patient convenience and access to care through increased adoption of Video-to-Home care, and expanded use of My HealtheVet functions such as online scheduling and prescription refills.
Adam has over 13 years of experience within VA where he has worked in radiology as the business manager in Portland, OR and most recently as a Senior Program Manager with the VA Office of Rural Health in Washington D.C. until 2018. Before joining VA, he taught High School Special Education and coached JV football. Adam, earned his Master of Health Administration degree at the University of Southern California, and has a B.A. from Brigham Young University in International Studies.
