Wireless in this context means any Wide Area Networking (WAN) transport technology that does not require an actual wire-line terminating to the NAS facility, including traditional cellular services, line-of-sight microwave, satellite, and various radio technologies. Each of these technologies are presented with respective advantages, disadvantages, and financial impacts.
