Featured Speaker: Chris Todd, NIH Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
The Cybersecurity Community of Interest invites you to join the member meeting to hear from Chris Todd, CISO, National Institutes of Health. Chris and his colleague at NIH, Erin Payne, will discuss the use of metrics to prioritize and identify risks.
At the meeting, the COI leaders will provide updates and opportunities on how you can maximize your engagement with the COI.
About the Speaker:
Christopher Todd is the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He has spent the last 18 years of his career serving various cyber security roles across the agency from cyber security engineer and senior information systems security officer (ISSO) to his current role as CISO. Mr. Todd served in the US Navy where he received numerous commendations for his service and graduated with a BS in Information Technology and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management with an Information Technology focus. Mr. Todd is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and is very active in his community supporting non-profit organizations.
Erin Payne has over 18 years of experience in program management, information technology and information security services to the Department of Defense (Department of the Army Headquarters at the Pentagon and DoD/Health Affairs/TRICARE Management Activity), the Department of Energy and the National Institutes of Health. In 2013, she joined the NIH Information Security Program as a contractor leading the Program Management in providing metric reporting, communication and stakeholder management and project management. Erin leverages her past experiences in project management to support the NIH Information Security Program in reaching its programmatic goals and mission.
