Invited Speaker: Servio Medina, DHA DAD IO/J-6 (HIT), Cybersecurity Policy Chief, Defense Health Agency
The Cybersecurity Community of Interest invites you to join the member meeting to hear from Servio Medina, Cybersecurity Policy Chief, Defense Health Agency. If it takes 3 months to change a habit 6 months to change a behavior and 12 months to change a lifestyle, what does one hour of cybersecurity training per year really do? Servio will discuss the importance of cyber behavior to enable effective cybersecurity.
At the meeting, the COI leaders will provide updates and opportunities on how you can maximize your engagement with the COI.
About the Speaker:
Servio Medina serves as the Defense Health Agency Cybersecurity Policy Chief where his current work focus includes harmonization of policy objectives for Army, Navy and Air Force medical commands migrating to the DHA and the new Medical Community of Interest (Med COI). He is convinced there is enough policy, and that one-hour of training per year + a poster on the wall does little to influence cyber behavior. Servio is currently an active member of the ACT-IAC Cyber COI Federal Advisory Panel, and remains a recovering educator with 10 years’ experience teaching mathematics. His interests include Cycling, Ultimate, Japanese, and keeping up with his three kids and wife.
