Abstract

ACT-IAC Acquisition COI November Member Meeting Slide Deck

Featuring guest speaker, Jeff Winkeljohn, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Deputy Director for IC Procurement, who spoke about ODNI’s Acquisition Agility initiative. As part of an agency reorganization, the ODNI outlined six foundational priorities one of which included the Acquisition Agility initiative. ODNI established the initiative to achieve the objective of  flexible, risk managed delivery of uncompromised capability, data and expertise at mission pace.  Projects of interest focus on people, processes, technology, and risk management. This effort supports the mission of ODNI and the Intelligence Community (IC) and helps drive key ODNI strategic priorities.

About the Speaker
Jeff Winkeljohn currently serves as the Deputy Director for Procurement and Deputy Senior Procurement Executive for the Intelligence Community.  A senior within the Navy Intelligence Activity, Jeff began his career as a submarine officer, serving on USS FRANCIS S. KEY (SSBN-657) and USS ALEXANDER HAMILTON (SSN-617).   His service in the US Navy includes assignments at Submarine Base, Bangor Washington and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, the Pentagon, and Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, DC.   A civil servant within the Department of the Navy since 2010, Jeff has most recently served as the Senior Acquisition Executive for the Naval Intelligence Activity.   A graduate of the University of New Mexico, he and his wife, Lori, are both natives of Albuquerque.  They have two adult children and live in Reston, Virginia.
