2021 Innovation Awards Nomination Form

Nomination Rules

Nominations will be accepted through March 31, 2021.
Anyone can nominate an innovation that benefits (or could benefit) services to citizens and government operations.
There is no limit to the number of nominations you may submit - you may submit more than one. And there is no cost for submitting a nomination.
Nominations must have been conceived, developed, deployed or upgraded in the last two years (after Jan. 1, 2019) to be eligible.
If you are logged into the ACT-IAC website, you may save a draft. You may also return to a previous submission here.
If you are not logged into the ACT-IAC website, you will not be able to save a draft and must complete the entire submission in a single session.
After you answer all of the questions, then click on “SUBMIT” to submit your nomination.
The nominations will be reviewed by a panel of judges to select the best nominations and the award winners. The points of contact in the nomination form will be notified if they are selected as one of the best nominations or as an award winner.

1. Innovation Name - What is your innovation called? (Please spell out any acronyms)

2. Describe your innovation – what does it do and why it is innovative? (e.g. Novel use of technology? Innovative approach to creation? Unique solution to a longstanding problem? Early-stage idea that has “game changing” potential?) (1,000 word limit)

3. What change does your innovation attempt to deliver or create and how? This can be described in terms of a new solution to a problem or a new outcome to be delivered. (500 word limit)

4. Who will benefit from your innovation and how will they benefit? Include qualitative and quantitative benefits and consider including “before” and “after” innovation metrics. (500 word limit)

5. What is the status of your innovation?

Deployed (in operation/production)

Prototype, Proof of Concept, or Pilot Stage (must have at least one working instance of the solution)

Conceptual Stage (must have at least a complete proposal endorsed or approved by a third party)
